Female lions still roar like male lions. I imagine it'd be the same for the leviathan class creatures.

Personally, the Emperor/Empress having a vocalization would spoil the game immersion for me. I would rather information technology just make monster noises.

I would prefer a mesmer treatment with dialouge (i cant spell that for some reason) similar this "Attention: This beast is broadcasting a frequency above the range of homo hearing delight scan this creature for more than info" after scan:"Scans of this animate being and its encephalon show new data you tin now communicate with this brute using this new translation software" and now a the emperor comes up and then the PDA says stuff when all you hear from it (emperor) all you hear is chirps and clicks (deplorable for the longness)
